A Curious Mind with a Love for Technology
Pervez Ahmed has always been passionate about technology. From an early age, he showed strong interest in system logic, software structures, and digital tools that can improve everyday life.
Though he studied business, his interest in tech never faded. He continued learning, exploring, and applying technology to real-world problems. This early passion played a key role in shaping his career and laid the foundation for what would later become Vehicles Lab.
A Business Mindset With a Digital Edge
Although Pervez comes from a business background, he has always believed that technology can solve everyday challenges more efficiently. His career reflects that belief, starting with traditional business roles and gradually moving into digital leadership.
His professional journey began at SAAD Musa Group, where he managed business operations and accounts. During this time, he developed a strong understanding of core business functions like finance, compliance, and internal processes.
Later, at Best Way Group, he shifted to call center operations. There, he saw firsthand how automation and system integration could improve workflow. It was here that he began asking the right questions: What can be automated? What can be improved? How can work be done more efficiently?
Transitioning into IT Leadership
These questions led Pervez to fully step into the tech field. At Pacific Group, he served as IT Manager, where he introduced automation into core business functions and optimized infrastructure. His approach was always practical, aligning technology with business needs to improve outcomes.
He later joined Spice FM 96.4 as Head of MIS and Digital, where he led the station’s digital transformation. Pervez led several key projects, including improving online visibility, growing audience engagement, and building the station’s digital presence from the ground up. Under his leadership, Spice FM became a stronger brand in the digital space.
But all this time, another idea was brewing.
The Birth of Vehicles Lab: SaaS for the Garage Industry
The idea for Vehicles Lab didn’t come from theory — it came from experience.
The first time Pervez took his car in for servicing, he noticed something that stayed with him. The invoice was handwritten on a torn piece of paper. There was no digital record, no system, no professionalism. For a service that involved both money and machine, it felt surprisingly outdated.
That one visit made him realize a much bigger problem. Across Bangladesh, hundreds of garages were still operating manually — using paper records, basic Excel files, and guesswork.
This inspired him to create Vehicles Lab.
Founded 7years ago, Vehicles Lab is the first all-in-one Garage Management Software (SaaS) of its kind in Bangladesh. It was built to solve real, everyday problems faced by garage owners; from job card tracking and billing to inventory, customer history, and team activity.
What makes Vehicles Lab unique is that it’s built through direct and ongoing conversations with garage owners, technicians, and workshop managers. Every feature is based on real feedback and real use cases from the field.
The platform continues to grow and improve, constantly adapting to new challenges and solving real-time issues faced by its users.
